*Gulf Coast Ministry InstituteWhat is the Gulf Coast Ministry Institute? Gulf Coast Ministry Institute provides excellent leadership opportunities for lay church members and bi-vocational ministers who are interested in formal equipping for ministry. The Institute is a cooperative effort between the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and the Gulf Coast Baptist Association. Participants can earn accredited hours in ministry related courses such as the Bible Ministry Certificate or Christian Education Certificate. Students who complete the Certificate Program will be able to participate in graduation ceremonies at the Seminary. Classes toward certificates in Biblcal Ministry and Christian Education will be offered this semester. Please click the links below for the latest information about the courses and registration. Fall 2010 Class Schedule and Information : The Gulf Coast Ministry Institute will offer two courses beginning September 9. If you’re in the Biblical Ministry track, then Introduction to the New Testament course will interest you. If you’re in the Christian Leadership track, you’ll want to sign up for the Principles of Learning and Teaching course. The classes will be held at the FBC Biloxi Student Center beginning September 9, 2010. The class sessions are set for 6:30 – 8:30 PM.

Like before, you can register for the course you intend to take on September 9. Each course costs $50 (plus the cost of the textbook). If you intend to pay by check, make it out to Leavell College.
