The GCBA Associational Leadership Team recommends to the Executive Board, at their meeting on Monday April 4, 2022, that the search process be initiated to seek God’s will in calling our next Executive Director/Treasurer who will serve with Dr. Mooneyham until he retires June 30, 2023.

Last October the Association approved the search policy to guide the search for staff.  The search team for the Executive Director/Treasurer will consist of nine (9) members


Five members of the Associational Leadership Team: Moderator, Vice moderator, Chair of Strategy, Administrative and Finance Teams


Four at-large members: One from Stone County, One from Hancock County and two from Harrison County.


The Moderator or his designee will serve as chairman of the team.


At-large members will be recommended to the Administrative Team by their pastor on a form made available by the GCBA.  A pastor may submit his own name for consideration.  The Administrative Team shall consider the nominees and present their recommendation at a called meeting of the Executive Board to approve those who will serve as “At-large” members on the Search Team.
