GCBA's Church Training Institute Registration

In partnership with NOBTS's Leavell College, CTI provides participants with additional training for ministry. The purpose of this program is to assist church leaders (both paid and volunteer) with more tools for serving, ministering, and leading. If a participant completes all eight courses, the student will be awarded the Biblical Ministry Certificate from NOBTS.


Each course is 8 weeks in length, and will meet for 2 hours each week.

Tuition for each course is $100.

(For new students, there is also a one-time $25 registration fee, which the GCBA is currently covering as we launch the program.)

(Scholarships may be available for members of GCBA partnering churches. Contact the office for more info.)


A student can take any class or classes desired. Here is the list of the full-slate of the 8 courses that will be provided to obtain the Certificate:

  • Exploring the New Testament

  • Exploring the Old Testament

  • Interpreting the Scriptures (Hermeneutics)

  • Christian Doctrine & Theology

  • History of the Christian Faith

  • Evangelism

  • Apologetics

  • Christian Missions
